An accountability court on Thursday issued arrest warrants for former executive Shaukat Aziz for surpassing his powers and causing losses to the national exchequer.
Accountability court judge Arshad Malik issued the warrants over Aziz’s ceaseless nonattendance from court procedures.
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had recorded a defilement reference against the previous chief and others in July this year. Aziz filled in as the head administrator of Pakistan from August 2004 to November 2007.
The court endorsed a request of recorded by Liaquat Jatoi, Ismail Korai, Shahid Hamid and Naseem Akhtar looking for exclusion from showing up before it.
It communicated disappointment over the nonattendance of other named charged. The court likewise issued capture warrants for blamed Arifuddin over persistent nonattendance.
The conference was later deferred until November 1.
