Police say there are “multiple fatalities” after two mosque shootings in Christchurch, New Zealand.

 

 New Zealand PM Jacinda Ardern says the attack is one of the country’s “darkest hours”.

 

Police warn more people may be involved. Authorities have told all mosques to shut their doors till further notice. Christchurch schools were locked down but have now reopened

Australia’s opposition leader Bill Shorten has also joined the many that have expressed their shock at what happened in New Zealand.

Police in Queensland, Australia have confirmed they are working together with their New Zealand counterparts.
