Over 1 Million Citizens Registered At ‘Pakistan Citizens Portal’, PM Imran Tweets!

Prime Minister Imran Khan has tweeted and said that Pakistan Citizens Portal has reached over one million registered people within eight months of its launch.

The premiere took to Twitter on Tuesday night saying, “As of today over 1 million citizens have registered at Pakistan Citizens Portal within 8 months of its launch.”

The announcement on the tweet was made with hashtag #PMHazirHai.

PM Khan said, “This is testament of people’s trust in the system & its effectiveness. No political or bureaucratic reference required to reach out to a public office.”

“On the resolution front: a total of 6,80,000 complaints were resolved out of 8 lakh complaints registered so far. This is true citizen’s empowerment. This is Naya Pakistan!” the premiere stated.

 

The citizens portal was launched on October last year with the purpose of timely addressing issues of the people under Prime Minister Imran Khan’s directives and get their feedback related to government.

The system enables people of Pakistan to file their complaints and give their suggestions directly to the government if they intend. The citizens can highlight functioning of ministries, departments and offices as a whole.

As per the reports, the application also secured second position from 87 participating countries with over 4,664 entries of apps at World Government Summit in Dubai. The position secured in the category for Best Government Mobile Apps.
