A 15 year old boy won the scrabble championship!

On Tuesday, at the 31st Signature Pen National Scrabble championship was held at IBA Karachi. Hasham Hadi Khan performed exceptionally well throughout the tournament, he secured his first championship while securing top position in 21 of his 27 games.

More than 40 Pakistani players participated in the tournament. Among those who participated, 6 were current junior world champions. 27 different games were held in Karachi, out of which 8 were held at IBA, Karachi.

Waseem Khatri, Pakistan’s number 1 champion has secured 7 the national title and was able to end runners up by leading in his 7 remaining games.

The third position was secured by Danial Sanaullah. He is a brilliant player and elder brother of a former champion, Sohaib Sanaullah.

Making his way in the game, another promising player Muhammad Inshal won the 4th position.

Hasham Hadi twin brother Hammad Hadi, who secured 5th position.

Chief Guest Associate professor and Program Director of CED department at IBA distributed the prizes.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari congratulated the champion of the tournament via twitter.
