RAWALPINDI (WEDNESDAY): At least 12 Iranian security personnel, including members of the Revolutionary Guards, were kidnapped on the Pakistan – Afghanistan border in October, 2018.
The ISPR statement said that:
The recovered Iranian soldiers were being handed over to Iranian authorities.
Terrorist belonging to proscribed organizations were entering Pakistani premises through Afghanistan border along with 4 abducted Iranian soldiers, but fortunately they were recovered and the terrorist were killed by the Pakistani armed forces.
Security Forces on Wednesday rescued 4 Iranian soldiers after a massive exchange of fires between the terrorists and security forces.
The (Inter-Services Public Relations) ISPR stated.
