7 Best Shows to binge-watch during your Night In!

On the 19th of September, McDonald’s is bringing an amazing offer called ‘McDelivery Night In’ for those who wish to snug in their sheets and binge-watch shows that should always be on top of your list!

Isn’t weekend the best time to relax at home and spend quality time with your friends and family? McDonald’s couldn’t know us any better!

With hundreds of choices, finding the right show to watch can be a slog. But we’re here with recommendations for the best shows — new and old — you can watch right now on your preferred streaming service.

First up is a classic series with renewed relevance;

  1. Orange is the New Black

The legacy began in 2013 with the first season of Orange Is the New Black. Now this comedy/drama series (based on the real-life story of a woman imprisoned at a federal prison) is coming to an end. Have you watched the seventh and final season of the show with your best friend yet?

  1. The I-Land

A group of strangers walk up on a beach with no memory of how they got there. Soon we get to witness the possibility of their plane crashing, and people start assuming if they’re dead and just in heaven (or some kind of afterlife). Are you ready to feel a particularly uncanny sense of déjà vu if you decide to binge-watch this one?

  1. Shark Tank

If you’re a diligent entrepreneur, this show is definitely for you. It has done wonders for a few small businesses and more importantly contains some great advice for entrepreneurs. Next time you have to prepare for a pitch; don’t forget to watch this show!

  1. Brooklyn Nine-Nine

You’ll be glued to this inane yet astonishingly strident workplace sitcom set in a New York City police zone. The Lonely Island’s Andy Samberg leads the cast as Jake Peralta, the star detective on a team filled with exquisitely drawn characters. But the show’s secret weapon is Andre Braugher – the former drama actor plays the overly serious Captain Raymond Holt with unrivalled deadpan.

  1. Daastan:

Unlike a movie, Daastan is surely no lesser. The sets and treatment is nothing short of one. You’ll be inclined to watch Saba Qamar, Sanam Baloch, Fawad Khan and Ahsan Khan in the pre-partition era in their sherwanis and ghararas. If you haven’t made clothes for this wedding season yet, now is the time to take inspiration from this show!

  1. Zindagi Gulzar Hai

An economically run-down, empowered woman and her daughters play a significant role in Zindagi Gulzar Hai. The story takes you on a ride through their tussle and fight against societal standards. Later we find out how Kashaf, the eldest daughter, falls in love with a man from an economically privileged family.

  1. Cheekh:

Saba Qamar’s Cheekh is a drama that has an extremely gripping story. The story is so engaging that at the end of every episode, it leaves the audience in anticipation. This murder mystery thriller will keep your excitement captivated till the very end. So are you ready to hit the screen during your night in?
