Pakistan Super League’s opening ceremony was a hit and miss and Aima Baig covering Disco Deewane was definitely a big miss for Zoheb Hassan.
Hassan, who composed the original perfomed by his late sister, Nazia Hassan lashed out at PSL for using the track without his permission:
“I was shocked to see that a reputable platform like PSL used our track Disco Dewane without our prior permission. Outright infringement of intellectual property should be condemned and I am going to take a legal stand on this one,” he wrote.
Disco Deewane was performed by Shuja Haider and Aima Baig during the opening ceremony of PSL 4 and personally, we think Zoheb’s even angrier because they kinda ruined it.
