County in New York cast out Unvaccinated Kids From Public Places

Countries around the world have begun taking precaution measures to guarantee that unvaccinated individuals  don’t make the rest of environment sick.

One New York suburb has taken steps to that battle by forbidding unvaccinated children from open spots like schools, cafes, parks and malls. Rockland County in New York has taken the remarkable move after an outbreak of measles.

County Executive Ed Day said in a statement: “We will not sit idly by while children in our community are at risk. This is a public health crisis, and it is time to sound the alarm.” “We must do everything in our power to end this outbreak and protect the health of those who cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons and for the children too young to be vaccinated.”

The new laws mean that parents are now putting themselves at risk of being fined up to €500 (£432/$564) if they do send their child to school unvaccinated.

The new law was introduced following a surge in measles cases. The County has faced a whopping 153 cases of measles.
