Tip to survive heat without air-conditioning..

Every year temperature is rising due to many climactic changes. Air pollution and global warming, sea trashing, these are the things effecting our environment and impacting rising temperature.

Instead of planting trees, we are cutting our forests and trashing our sea which is effecting out eco-system.

This summer temperature of Karachi has already risen to extreme level, which is a cause of concern. Heat waves can strike areas of the country where cooler climates are the norm. Not all can afford air-conditioning.

So here are some tips to survive or beat the heat:

1: Use water as your cooling system: 

Fill buckets or basins and soak your feet and hands. Wet towels or cotton cloth and wore it on the shoulders or head to protect from heat-waves. Take cool showers or baths, and consider using a spray bottle filled with cold water for refreshing yourself throughout the day.

2: Eliminate extra sources of heat:

Try avoiding using light bulbs on, because it can generate heat, as can computers or other electric or home appliances left. Try to avoid using stove for food heating, use microwave or oven so you can stay away from fire heat.

3: Try to keep yourself hydrated: 

Try to consume more water than you usually do when it’s hot, drink fresh juices and other water based substances. Thrust is a sign of dehydration, you should drink sufficient amounts of fluids before you feel thirsty in order to prevent dehydration.

4: Avoid beverages and caffeine: 

Both of these substances can act as diuretics and promote dehydration. Try to avoid drinking tea and coffee in this glazing summer, because both are source of caffeine.

5: Eat fruits:

Try to eat fruits,they keep your body hydrated and fresh, try to avoid eating rich protein meals. It can increase metabolic heat and warm the body.
