Disney is on a GOT hunt, the company is now locking down GOT director for its upcoming Disney plus series.
As Game of thrones was a cinematic masterpiece, Disney is hunting down people and preparing for its small screen debut. Whereas Marvel on the other-hand has dominated the big screen and have huge fan base. They are continuing its Avengers saga now to the small screen.
According to several reports, Matt Shakman is in talks to direct a six-episode series. It’s still unknown which of the announced Disney+ Marvel series he is currently in talks for.
As the first series to be released is directed by Kari Skogland (The Falcon and The Winter Soldier), and than following the lineup. However he can potentially be directing Hawkeye, he would no doubt prove a solid fit for it and a great asset for Disney.
