Social awkwardness and dealing with it.

Are you socially awkward when you are totally new to certain situations, exposure or experiences?

Everyone certainly is when they feel a bit of confusion when they meet new people or don’t know what to do and cope with different social situations. The struggle leads to shyness and social phobia that sometimes or mostly gets noticed by others.

If you feel shy in certain situations here is how you can deal with it. I believe that this is the most suitable self-help way to deal with a haunting or an awkward situation like these. Be more communicative at conversations with confidence. Even if you say anything wrong or present your perception, do it boldly without any other thought. Don’t forget that the person you are talking to is no less than what you are so there won’t be need of any shyness to come.

When you feel that your blood is starting to boil with anxiety when you are new and a stranger to something breathe deeply, take time and think over it. Don’t get in a confusing state to whether start it all over again or not. Just do what you feel is comfortable for you.

Be attentive and show it through your body language. Don’t make an impression for others that you are actually being shy from that particular situation. If you present yourself in a good or a positive way your first impression only will last longer.

Relax and release the occurring tension or stresses that become a mental block for you. If you start worrying about stresses you will mess things up so avoiding that would be the best option.

Start working on these on spot strategies when you feel like you are becoming shy or weird at situations. This would work to gain that confidence you are hiding back.
