The federal minister for science and technology, Fawad Chaudhry claimed that Ramadan moon will be sighted on 24 April, 2020. He further added that the briefing will be given to the parliamentary committee on religious affairs on March 05, regarding Eid.

Last year in the month of May Fawad Chaudhry introduced the first ever-sighting website which was followed by the launch of the moon sighting app to share the real time information about the moon.
