Punjab overtakes Sindh’s coronavirus tally with 29 new cases!

Its an alarming situation in Punjab as twenty-nine new coronavirus cases have been confirmed on Friday evening, taking the provincial tally to 448, according to a spokesperson for the Punjab health department.

Punjab now has the highest number of Covid-19 cases in the country, overtaking Sindh’s total of 440.

So far, four people have died from the virus in the province — one in Rawalpindi and three in Lahore.

It was earlier reported that 2 doctors in Punjab contracted coronavirus while treating the patients at a Dera Ghazi Khan quarantine center.

The doctors identified with Covid-19 have been kept in an isolation ward and are undergoing treatment, said health secretary, He said that the condition of both doctors is out of danger.
