Four PM House employees test positive for COVID-19

Four employees of the Prime Minister House tested positive for the novel coronavirus after routine tests of the staffers were carried out on Saturday.

Those who tested positive for COVID-19 have been quarantined, said sources. All other precautionary measures have been initiated and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are being followed.

Meanwhile, Special Assistant to PM on Political Communication Shahbaz Gill said testing of staffers of the PM House and other important offices was a routine activity. He confirmed that the coronavirus test results of some officials have come back positive.

He said those officials who have tested positive were not in direct contact with any important personality during recent days.

The development comes less than 10 days after five staffers at the Sindh CM House including Murad Ali Shah’s secretary tested positive for COVID-19.
