Nasir Shah,  provincial Information Minister , informed that the Sindh Government has told the federation that it is not in the favor of cattle farm this Eid ul Azha !

He further said that whoever wants to sacrifice this year can directly contact the religious scholars or local mosques who can, in turn, perform the service for them.

The arrangements are made by the government to pick up the animal’s carcasses across the province. With the assistant of non profit organisation Karachi Commissioner Iftikhar Shallwani has already approved arrangements of collective sacrifice of sacrificial animals during Eid ul Azha.

He had asked the organisations to make arrangements for online booking and dispatching of meat due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Last month meeting was held between representatives of various philanthropist organisations, including the Edhi Foundation, Chhipa Welfare Association, Saylani Welfare Trust, Al-Khidmat Foundation, Jamia Binoria Site and Daawat-e-Islami in which they discussed how the arrangements would be made for a collective sacrifice of animals and their registration. And also that the  deputy commissioners (DCs) of all the six districts would supervise the issues regarding the slaughter of sacrificial animals.

The efforts of the commissioner were appreciated by the non profit organisation and assured to manage it carefully in this pandemic and also that the participants agreed that arrangements for the sacrifice of animals needed to be done on a large scale this year due to the pandemic.
