Muneeb Butt appeared for the promotion of his upcoming drama Sar E Rah in a morning show and talked about how he forcefully made his way into getting this character as he found it challenging and wanted to take up the task.
While appearing at a morning show Muneeb narrated:
“Initially I wasn’t offered this character, I was offered another character, I didn’t like the role which I was offered other role, I kept on reading the script and found this character Sarang, I asked director about Sarang, I was inquisitive about it, I said to Ahmad Bhatti (director) I want to this role but I was refused, he said we have someone else onboard for this character. Then, I asked for script, they sent it to me, I sent an audition on my own, they didn’t want it but I sent, I prepared everything, I made a video, I edited it and added the music too, I sent it to Abdullah Seja at 5:am, in the morning, I was casted”
He further enunciated that he was very excite for the project and took it up as a challenge, he wrapped up all other projects before this serial’s shoot so that he can take up the desired get up and get completed into the character.
