Al Aqsa is a sacred place of worship for Muslims. The Arab League has urged Israel to stop Jewish prayers inside the Al-Aqsa Masjid compound in occupied East Jerusalem & told that such actions can trigger Muslims and cause global widespread conflict.
Israel has conducted gross violation of human rights & restricted Muslims in their right to worship. The Jews also enter the mosque under police protection.
“Our demands are clear that Al-Aqsa and Haram al Sharif in all its area is a sole place of worship for Muslims,” Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi told reporters after an emergency meeting of the league in Amman.
Israeli police stormed the Al-Aqsa mosque compound previous week which resulted in multiple casualties to Palestinian people.
