You might be a little confused with my blog tagline… but i have a reason behind it. In this blog i will be talking about why our society, well specially our desi community is so caged with negative thoughts and why our girls are not allowed to speak up for themselves.
Okay so these are the few taunts that i have seen desi uncles and aunties passing on girls.
“Shhh…apni asal age kisi ko nahi batana”
“Agar koi ladka tumhe tang kare tou kisi ko batana nahi, warna mohally mein badnaami hojayegi”
“Koi aunty ya koi rishtedaar tumhe taunt maaray tou chup raho”
These are few of those very disgusting taunts that i’ve seen women from desi community passing onto young girls. I believe it’s high time that we all should raise our voice and tell that women are not meant to stay quite. Us women should speak out against violence, hatred, abuse, mental abuse and many more.
