A prodigy, who is just 9 years old, born in Belgium, is on track to earn his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering by December.
According to Now This, Laurent Simons is studying courses at an accelerated pace at the Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands. His parents stated that prestigious universities are already seeking him out for Ph.D. programs.
His IQ level is 145, whereas a normal person’s IQ level ranges from 90 to 110, and he aims to develop artificial organs. If he is able to finish his university by December, he will become the youngest kid to complete education at such a small age.
It was reported that the boy’s amazing ability to learn fast has allowed him to take courses at an “adjusted schedule,” even at the university level. His parents and teachers say that his brain is like a sponge and that he’s very sympathetic.
The brilliant and brainy child plans on graduating with his bachelor’s in December and will go on to pursue a Ph.D. in electrical engineering while dabbling in medicine.
His family saw his talent and they groomed and supported him to make a difference in society.
