Bribe culture on the rise amid second lockdown!

AS PAKISTAN VERGES TOWARDS A SECOND NATIONWIDE LOCKDOWN, THE BRIBING CULTURE HAS DRASTICALLY INCREASED AS WELL.

Since all the bakery, shops, restaurants, and offices are instructed by the federal and provincial authorities to be closed by 10 pm every day.

It has been noticed and being experienced by many citizens in different parts of the cities and as soon as the lockdown timing starts police officials are seen blackmailing and asking shopkeepers and hawkers to give them money as they are working even after the lockdown timings.

Pakistan imposed a countrywide lockdown during the start of the pandemic in the country, however, after a few days the people starting taking the lockdown lightly.

EVEN AS COVID-19 CASES WERE SURGING IN THE COUNTRY.

In an earlier statement to the press, Director of General Health Services Islamabad Dr. Hassan Orooj sadly stated:

THE PUBLIC IS NOT FOLLOWING COVID-19 SOPS, ADDING THAT A SECOND LOCKDOWN NOW SEEMS “INEVITABLE”.
