During this difficult corona-ridden time, it is evident that our working class and lower class is suffering greatly. their families and their children starving, their sources of income gone, and their hope crumbling under the weight of this catastrophe.
At a time like this we must take it upon ourselves to do everything in our power as responsible citizens of Pakistan, to play our role in helping our fellow citizens. First and foremost we must support our government in all its efforts towards the relief of the poor.
To do this, our share of Zakat, that is to be given next month, should be given now when they need it most. By doing this we will not be burdening ourselves much and we will be helping the needy at one of the worst economic times in the history of humanity.
Along with this, we must consistently respect and follow the guidance given to us by the government and our fellow citizens, to practice social distancing! We cannot emphasise this point enough, because this is the only way we can protect ourselves and our loved ones.
Each man, woman child must remain home as much as they can. When it is necessary to go out we must wear polythene gloves, which are easily available at any pharmacy and wear a mask, so as to protect others, in case we are carriers.
Upon returning home we must immediately change our clothes and jump in the shower so as to wash away any germs we may have caught in our hair, face, hands, or any other part of our bodies, while outside. the discarded clothes must immediately be washed so as to avoid the spreading of germs, within the confines of our homes.
It is of utmost importance that we do our bit to help our fellow men and follow these guidelines, for our own protection and of those around us.
