CM Murad Ali Shah plans to re-design ‘Teacher’s training program’

We all have witnessed and so well aware of the fact regarding the poor condition of our schools in Sindh. The syllabus hasn’t been upgraded since more than 30 years, books lack creative and superlative content ; thus,less attractive to students, teachers are not well-trained to deal with children whereas, the structure of classes will not be wrong to say shabby and worse.

On Wednesday, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah introduced his plans where his will to take initiatives to shape the structure of schools is evident. He believed, the training of teachers is vital for every educational institute; hence, it should be strengthen to develop the foundation of best teacher. This would help them to pursue their careers in teaching in most valuable way whereas, this will open roots for the students to secure better careers in future.

He presided a meeting which included all members of education board, CM directed them to include practical work, theory, way of communication to deal with students and parents and  also ethics. He said to extract all the benefits from developed countries which have the best education criteria.

The Chief Minister also focused on changing the textbook’s content from grade 1-8th. A team of writers, educationist and publishers from both private and public sectors, will be assigned a task to replace the books and content according to latest requirements. The new course will help students in grasping comprehension skills, life-skills and reading under the mentor-ship of new and more refined teachers.

CM Murad Ali Shah concluded “We have to make our teachers’ training system strong enough, which improves teaching abilities and communication skills of teachers tremendously.”

We kept hearing about the government taking steps to re-built the education structures in Sindh but a fruitful result is still on pending.
