Usually people like coffee for its taste and aroma but it has alot of health benefits too if taken in an adequate amount.
Coffee has antioxidants and it helps to lower the risk of type 2 diabetes in the long run. It has caffine in it that fights fatique and boost energy levels, thats why people have it the first thing in the morning and at work.
On the other hand if taken too much it can cause health issues like addiction, digestive issues and muscle breakdown. However, taking it in an appropriate amount can boost energy and makes a person relax specially at times of distress.
