We’ve spoken about this before, we miss food.
With the current lockdown situation where we can’t treat ourselves to the yummy offerings of our favourite restaurants, we’re now rolling up our sleeves and taking care of our cravings ourselves.
Sure, some things we can’t recreate but why dwell on that when we have delicious rich brownies to cry into… we mean eat?
What you’ll need
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Start by melting the butter. Add 1⅛ cup of sugar and whisk.
Crack two eggs in the mix. continue whisking.
In a separate bowl, add flour, cocoa, coffee and salt and mix.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry and gently mix together. Remember, if you want your brownies to turn out nice and fudgy, don’t beat the ingredients too much or else the result will be more cakey.
Pour the batter in a 9×9 baking dish and bake for 15-20 minutes.
For added texture you can throw some chocolate pieces on top before it goes in the oven.
Once out of the oven, let cool and slice into squares.
Then devour immediately because look at them!
