Cricket World Cup trophy shipped to Pakistan for display in three cities

The International Cricket Council (ICC) World Cup trophy was shipped to Pakistan on Thursday on the international leg of the Trophy Tour.

The trophy will be taken to Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi during the journey where it would be placed at prime spots for a photo opportunity.

The trophy would be shifted to Islamabad today and it would be displayed to cricket-lovers on Friday.

Lahoris can catch a glimpse of the trophy on April 13. The final destination of the trophy would be Karachi where the cricket-enthusiasts would be able to capture a selfie with it on April 14.

The ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup is scheduled to begin on May 30 in England. The first encounter of the high-octane clash would be played between Australia and South Africa.

Pakistan and India would face-off for the nail-biting thriller on June 16.
