How this disabled writer is inspiring others!

Keah Brown is disabled writer, started #DisabledAndCute a medium through which, she has since used the platform to help herself and others advocate for self-love.

Now This reported that she really struggled with, self-confidence, and really low self-esteem, and she just didn’t like herself because of our society kind of pushes disabled people aside, and she kind of internalized that.

Brown started saying four things that she liked about herself in the mirror every day, which she found made her feel better about herself. She decided to start a hashtag that empowers her and others with disabilities to feel “cute.”

Keah Brown has been published in big magazines like Harper’s Bazaar, and Glamour, but she says her book “The Pretty One” was a rare opportunity for her to write about subjects she’s passionate about, as well as her disability.

She wanted each publishing house to know that she was going to talk about disability because it mattered to her, but she to be able to talk about things that mattered to her and don’t often get the chance to talk about.

Brown says she hopes her visibility in the world can inspire people to see value in their differences.
