Just a few days we saw Donald Trump raving about Home Alone 2 being one of the best Christmas movies as the POTUS had a small cameo in the 1992 blockbuster. But from the looks of it, he might very soon be taking back his statement due to Canadian Broadcasting Company (CBC).
As per an article in People Magazine, the POTUS’ much-loved cameo in the film was recently omitted during its telecast in Canada by CBC. Trump, who found out about it through right-wing publications, was obviously not very happy about being ‘censored’.
“The movie will never be the same! (just kidding),” tweeted POTUS subtly hinting that he’s definitely NOT KIDDING.

Trump also directed his target towards Justin Trudeau and tweeted that he might have been cut out because Trudeau doesn’t like him.
“I guess Justin Trudeau doesn’t much like my making him pay up on NATO or Trade!” he posted another tweet as he linked CBC’s actions with Canadian PM.

Earlier than Trump, his son Donald Jr. too had taken his anger to Twitter as he blasted CBC for having a political vendetta.
“Imagine being so pathetic in your quest to attain some bull s*** level of wokeness that you need to cut out a scene that is probably one of the most famous cameos of the era? Imagine being so ‘triggered’ that you can’t even leave a Christmas movie alone without editing,” tweeted Donald Jr. in a full-blown rage moment.
However, CBC in its statement to People Magazine stated that the editing was actually done in 2014 – two years before Trump became POTUS – and was done in order to make the film better suited for television. The broadcasting company also stated that Trump’s scene is not the only one to be edited and there are others too to make time for commercials.
