When they say he’s committed about the job he takes up, they’re very very true. Dwayne The Rock Johnson is one hard working actor and he proved it once again. Although he got married to long time girl friend Lauren Hashian last weekend, Saturday morning, Johnson was spotted at the D23 Expo promoting his upcoming film Jungle Cruise.
According to Johnson, his wife didn’t actually mind since she knows D23 was named after him. Dwayne. That’s where the D comes from, The Fast and The Furious actor joked.
Jungle Cruise has been directed by Jaume Collet Serra and stars Dwayne Johnson, Emily Blunt, Paul Giamatti and Jack Whitehall in prominent roles. The film is set around a Disneyland ride and is said to release next year.
Promoting the film alongside Emily, the lead pair joked about their favorite scene from the film which happened when the two were trying to escape from an Amazonian Tribe. Blunt shared how the two could not make it through the takes without laughing, following the comedy that ensued. Seconding his costar Johnson also shared how it was so hard to stop laughing and keep the takes from being ruined.
