Who is Kiran Chishti? What led you to this steady growth, tell us about your successful journey.
Kiran Chishti is a determined, hardworking and detail-oriented professional associated with the media and corporate industry. She has a strong media background and nowadays is working in leading positions of the media and corporate sector. She started her career as an assistant director in one of the prestigious TV channel, and with her dedication, she gradually moved towards the cooperate world and became a consultant for many multinational companies.
How do you manage your personal and professional life with this busy schedule?
It is pretty simple to balance work and life when you love what you do. The key is to work smarter not harder. When you have things streamlined the process becomes efficient. I take time on the weekends to do things for myself and ensure that I regenerate before the work week begins.
With the post-Covid situation that the World is going through, what is your vision for better growth of the company?
As COVID-19 has affected the whole world adversely. The best way to overcome its effect is to work hard and be committed and dedicated to your work, as every challenge brings new opportunities. Examine every situation critically and keep working hard.
Share your experience of being part of a few mega projects of Hum TV such as Ehd e Wafa, Sabaat and Superstar?
Ehd e Wafa was one of the best experience of life, it was a collaboration with ISPR. I still remember the 18+ hours of continuous hard work, travelling throughout the nation for different shoot locations. Sabaat and Superstar was a tremendous journey as well and I got to learn a lot from those ventures. I believe that continuous hard work and determination always serves you well in different areas of life.
What keeps you motivated in life?
My passion for the media industry keeps me motivated every day. I strive for learning new things, acquiring new skills and coaching others, this is the driving force behind getting up and doing something new.
What is your motto in life?
My motto in life is “Trust Allah. Allah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity.” It is something my father has taught me and I keep it really close to my heart.
Holding such a strong position at such a young age, what advice would you give to the youth today as they enter their journey towards a successful career growth?
Focus on building your character as it depicts who you really are. Apply modesty, compassion and kindness in your daily life routine. Refrain from pride, cruelty and have faith in Allah.
