After the recent fall out between Disney and Sony, looks like they have sorted out problem for the sake of fan or there own mean.
Just when you thought that Sony announcing a Madame Web spin-off movie was going to be the craziest Spider-Man news of the day, it’s just been reported that Marvel and Sony have finally hashed out a deal to co-produce the third film in Sony’s Tom Holland-starring trilogy, while Spidey will also appear in one more Marvel film.
The deal was apparently finalized late Thursday night, with top brass at both companies negotiating new terms to continue the partnership. According to certain media say that they are going forward, Disney and Marvel will net 25% of the profits from new Spider-Man films, which is half of what they initially bargained for, but way more than they were getting previously.
In a statement by Marvel Studios’ Kevin Feige, who will be back on producing duties for the third film, he said:
“I am thrilled that Spidey’s journey in the MCU will continue, and I and all of us at Marvel Studios are very excited that we get to keep working on it.”
No more details about the exact terms of the new deal in the coming days were revealed, but for now we can look forward to seeing Spider-Man once again in Jon Watts’ third film, and at least one more Marvel movie. And finally Spiderman movie lifting the curse of third.
