If you are an Apple fan you would know that their stores are extraordinary and remarkable. If you are on vacation and there is an apple store you would not want to miss it! Apples worldwide retail network may be suffering but it has amidst the pandemic launched its 512th store abroad in Singapore on Marina Bay Sands.
This is the third Apple store in Singapore and its not like any other but a floating Apple store! To our surprise, it’s one of its kind and no other store would have this outlandish exterior. The shop is located on the city waterfront and known officially as Apple Marina Bay Sands, which is also a part of the luxury hotels and resort of the same name.
“Apple Marina Bay Sands will be at the heart of creativity, a place we’ve made for you to capture your ideas and passions,” the store’s official webpage reads. “We can’t wait to see where your imagination takes you.”
Marina Bay Sand, during day time, looks like an odd spacecraft from the future. The store reflects the towering skyline from its glass panels during the day and is designed to evoke the soft light of the traditional lanterns carried during Sinagprores Mid-Autumn Festival at night.
While we are still fighting against the virus the store will include the same measure found at Singapore’s other Apple stores for health and safety; limited occupancy, wearing a mask and sanitization requirements.
