The first ever Pakistan Sports Awards are all set to take place in Karachi on the 16th of March 2019. The awards, a first of their kind, are all about gathering the superheroes of Pakistan sports under one platform and put up a great celebration of their achievements.
This is the first time any sort of a sports awards are being held in Pakistan. With an all inclusive nomination, the awards will also honor Special Abilities Sportsperson of the Year along with sportswomen, sportsman, sports journalist, sports moment of the year, best CSR sports campaign, sports coach, sports team, TV host, commentator and also sports icon of the year amongst other categories.
People could nominate their favorite nominees and the awards will then be decided by a dedicated jury with some top names in the sporting industry. Waseem Akram, Afia Aslam, Dr. Zaf Iqbal, Ebba Qureshi, Shahid Hashmi, Shehzad Roy and also Salman Sarwar Butt amongst other prominent names in the industry.
The show will also feature performances by Kashmir The Band, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and also Atif Aslam.
