Giant lanterns in shape of animals shines at Paris festival.

Lanterns are always fascinating, but the enormous shape of lanterns is definitely a treat to watch. Giant lanterns in the shape of killer whales, octopuses and clownfish were lit up on Friday in the middle of a four-centuries-old botanical garden in Paris.

According to Reuters, the Natural History Museum is hoping to gain more success it had last winter when giant illuminated installations of wild animals drew 370,000 visitors to the “Jardin des Plantes” and became one of the city’s top tourist attractions.

However, this year, the management has installed 50 ocean creatures that consist of several hundred of light structures, some – up to 10 meters high or 30 meters long.

French Natural History Museum stated that “It’s an extraordinary journey that will amaze young and old while raising awareness about the fragility of the oceans,”.

Natural History Museum was able to pull the attraction by collaborating with China Lights Festival. Planet earth primarily consists of water, and our sea is getting deeply affected by climate change.
