Fifth Habib Bank Limited Pakistan Super League (HBL PSL) is likely to take place in Pakistan from February 20 to March 22, 2020.
The final of the fifth season is expected to be held in Lahore.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has already informed all franchises that the entire season five of HBL PSL will take place in Pakistan. This information is also give to foreign cricketers that only those cricketers who agree to play in Pakistan will be included in the draft.According to sources, the draft of next year’s HBL PSL is currently being planned for the second or third week of November, 2019.
According to details, Karachi is expected to host 09 matches while Lahore will host 11. Rawalpindi and Multan will also get eight and four matches, respectively.
National Stadium in Karachi is likely to host the matches of Karachi Kings, Quetta Gladiators and Peshawar Zalmi in the initial stages. On the other hand, Lahore Qalandars, Multan Sultans and Islamabad United are expected to play their matches at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
Peshawar and Azad Kashmir are also in consideration to host a match each. The board officials are soon expected to visit both venues and submit its report to the HBL PSL administration.
