Have you ever experienced when you just know deep down in your heart that someone is lying to you, but you aren’t sure enough to call them out on it, or say it to their face, and when later, you find out that you were right all along, that just changes everything.
As much as life is all about love and friendship, it is also about wisdom and judgment. As nice as it would be to live in a world where everyone is honest and transparent, the truth is, we have a long way to go with that. Something that can really help you on your journey is being able to distinguish between a lie and a truth. It’s good to learn the smart ways to identify a lie, so that you don’t have to learn the hard way through experience later.
Be it your friend, co-worker, or your husband/wife. Following are the ways that you can easily figure out whether they are lying or not,
1.Listen to their words carefully, it’s just there.
Someone who is lying may repeat certain words or phrases. It can seem that he is trying to convince himself of a lie.
2.Thier tone of voices changes.
Communication involves tone, volume, flow, pitch, and speed. You can easily figure it out if the person murmur a bit because they are trying to make up a story as they go along with it. You may also notice that they are giving you too much information without any reason. Their voice may carry a sense of nervousness, anxiety, or fear when there is no need for it to exist.
2.Their energy field changes
Science tells us that body language and tone make up the majority of a person’s communication, and experience tells us that intuition and empathetic ability can account for majority of the rest. A lot of people identify with being an empath, meaning, they can literally feel the thoughts and feelings the person is having. If you are standing right next to them, pay attention to how their energy field feels. Do you feel any kind of shield of lies and manipulation?
3.Their body language changes
If you observe closely, it’s pretty much easy to read body language of a person, knowing how to identify specific movements and gestures is a good way to prevent yourself from falling victim to a liar.
