How to feed your skin in winters

As the weather is extremely dry in winters and most of the people have extremely sensitive skin because of which it is very difficult to take care of their skin and get rid of dryness. They are unable to apply moisturiser, serums, oils or anything to comfort their skin. Many people get dry patches, redness even chapped lips so your skin needs some extra love and care during these months and the most important step being moisturising even if your skin is not that dry.
Firstly you should layer up you skincare by applying moisturiser and serums specially the ones containing hyaluronic acid along with skin care oils and a cream on the top. Before going to bath you should layer your skin with a cleansing oil and leave it for few minutes. Once you get done with the bath immediately apply body care and skin care lotions onto the dry and damp skin. When it comes to eyes and lips the skin is extremely sensitive and thinner. Use serums and eye creams before going to bed and apply balms and petroleum jelly to avoid chapped lips.
In winters it is also good to have a humidifier in your rooms as it helps in preventing the air from becoming too dry.
Avoid using scented body creams as it will dry the skin even more. There are many unscented and natural formula’s moisturiser which are tried and tested even the best moisturisers that will work to keep your skin plump and healthy

Bioderma:
It works great for dry/sensitive or mature skin. It causes no irritations. It’s completely fragrance free. It contains Niacinamide which is great for soothing the redness and coping with hyperpigmentation. It also contains Ceramide NP and Bioderma’ signature sugars which are excellent for skin barrier repair along with generation of hyaluronic acid in the skin.
Neutrogena:
Formulated with Hyaluronic Acid, this oil-free, non-comedogenic face moisturizer leaves dry skin looking smooth and hydrated day after day. The unique gel-cream formula absorbs quickly like a gel but has the lasting moisturizing power of a cream.

Physiogel:
Physiogel Cream is a hypoallergenic, moisturizing cream that provides physiogical lipids in Derma Membrance Structure (DMS), a structure similar to the skin, hence revitalizing dry skin.
Physiological lipids are natural and essential components of normal healthy skin.
Choose the best and correct moisturiser for your skin, if you have oily skin you should apply water based moisturiser and if you have dry skin you need heavier, oil based moisturiser.
In winters mostly people take hot bath and showers but it results in extreme hair-fall and dry skin in order to avoid it you should wash your hair and body warm water.

In winters mostly people do not wear sunscreen but the most important thing as your skin care routine must be wearing sunscreen everyday as it will help you even out your skin tone and allow the scars the chance to heal and lighten.
