After a solid two decades in Bollywood, Hrithik Roshan may finally be ready to make his Hollywood debut, if reports are to be believed.
According to Deadline, the superstar has been signed by Gersh Agency in the US which will represent him in Hollywood. The ultimate goal is to introduce him to Hollywood and then create projects for India.
Hrithik’s manager, Amrita Sen backed up her client and his talents saying, “Hrithik has always been an envelope pusher. For the last 20 years, he has been helping to drive Indian cinema into new genres, new narrative concepts and ever-more sophisticated storytelling.”
“In partnership with Gersh, we will now be taking Hrithik’s ambitious vision around the world,” she elaborated. By the looks of it, Hrithik may well be ready for his Hollywood debut!
“With Hrithik’s leadership, our goal is to continue to put India in a front and center position on the path towards globalization and diversity and help integrate creators into new markets that were previously not available to them,” she added.
Although there has been no mention of a film or show yet, the news can be expected sooner than we expect, as confirmed by Amrita. So, fans can rejoice!
Hrithik has been a powerhouse in Bollywood for the last 20 years, with his films boasting a collective gross of over $600 million. In the last year alone, he delivered two hits at the box office, War and Super 30, which has reportedly been picked up for a Hollywood remake.
