Ivanka Trump praises Middle East countries on women’s rights reforms!

Recently, the daughter of the US President, Donald Trump, Ivanka Trump, while speaking at a gathering of women entrepreneurs and regional leaders in Dubai, praised a few Middle Eastern countries, especially the US allies, Saudi Arabia and UAE for their reforms catering to women’s rights.

Delivering the keynote address at the two-day Global Women’s Forum, Ivanka said, “We know that when women are free to succeed, families thrive, communities flourish and nations are stronger.”

With her key position in the Oval office and her proximity to the president, Ivanka has been spearheading initiatives backing women’s empowerment. Her husband has become a top adviser on US Mideast policy.

“Today, American women are leading in every aspect of society. Last year, there were more women than men in the United States workforce, with women securing over 70 percent of new jobs,” Ivanka added while referring to the progress of women in the United States.

During her speech, Ivanka Trump also congratulated Saudi Arabia for recent changes in the law allowing women to drive, travel abroad and obtain a passport without the permission of a male relative.
