MANILA, Philippines – The magical wizarding world of Harry Potter lives on, thanks to JK Rowling and her non-stop dedication to the global HP franchise.
After several follow-up books to the original 7, Rowling returns yet again with Harry Potter: A Journey Through…, an upcoming non-fiction series of short e-books, set to launch in June 2019.
On Rowling’s Pottermore website, it says that the 4 short e-books will “delve deeper into the rich history of magic” as it “explores the origins of magic through history and folklore,” giving fans an in-depth look into the Hogwarts curriculum and its famous subjects.
According to BBC, the series is adapted from the audio book Harry Potter: A History of Magic.
The first two books will be released on June 27, and will provide readers a tell-all on the Defence Against the Dark Arts as well as Potions and Herbology.
The last two will explore the lessons of Divination and Astronomy and the Care of Magical Creatures.
According to the Pottermore website, each book will also include notes, manuscript pages, and sketches, giving every Harry Potter fan “a chance to absorb the colorful characters and curious incidents of the real history of magic in a more compact form.”
