Job is what you you in order to fulfil your basic necessities. It’s not important that it’s what you “like” doing. You don’t it because you don’t have a better option. Job could also be referred as a short term goal for some people. Some people do jobs to gain experience and exposure with in the field that they want to peruse in the future on a larger scale.
Career on the contrary is that “larger scale” . It consists of your passions and ambitions, career lasts for a long period. You work jobs to contribute to your career. You take up jobs to gain skills, experiences and knowledge that you utilise on building upon your career .
