John Abraham’s Romeo Akbar Walter finally has a release date and it’s April 12, 2019. The film also features Mouni Roy, Jackie Shroff, Suchitra Krishnamoorthi and Sikandar Kher.
His film Romeo Akbar Walter which was supposed to release earlier, faced many issues initially. However, after all the turmoil, the movie finally has a release day and is set to release on April 12, 2019.
Before John, Sushant Singh Rajput was earlier roped in to play the lead role in the spy-thriller. However, due to commitment issues, he opted out and soon John was signed up. The movie is based on true events that happened in India during the 1970s. The John Abraham starrer also features Mouni Roy, Jackie Shroff, Suchitra Krishnamoorthi and Sikandar Kher. RAW will be Suchitra’s comeback to films after 2010.
On June 15 last year, John shared the photograph from the sets where he was seen holding a clapperboard in his hand. He wrote, “And the journey begins.”
Directed by Robbie Grewal, RAW is produced by Dheeraj Wadhwan, Ajay Kapoor, Vanessa Walia and Gary Grewal. This will be John’s second collaboration with producer Ajay Kapoor after Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran. Meanwhile, the Dostana actor will also be seen in Batla House which is inspired by the September 2008 Batla House encounter case. It is directed by Nikkhil Advani, and also features Mrunal Thakur and is set to release on August 15, 2019.
