Khaani made it to Netflix!

Past few years of the millennials have been all about Netflix and the entertainment that it offers in a minimal fee worldwide. Only the top-notch and most-watched shows that have made it to people’s hearts are being shown by this media service.

While Netflix offers a variety of content, only a few Pakistani shows have made it to Netflix so far. Recently, one of the most popular drama of 7th Sky Entertainment, which is being headed by the dynamic duo Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi, has started live streaming on Netflix which is undoubtedly an achievement for the Pakistani Media Industry.

The story of Khaani has a unique side to it where the lead couple Feroze Khan and Sana Javed don’t end up together with a typical tagline “they lived happily ever after”, rather it showcased the brutal reality of our society where money and power come before justice. The drama has been written by the writer par excellence Asma Nabeel and has been beautifully directed by Anjum Shahzad.

It feels great to see how our industry is growing and how maestros like Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi are catering to all the relevant issues that need to be highlighted. We wish more success to the whole team of Khaani.
