After Kylie being crowned as the billionaire of the family and her age, Kim is ready to take her crown. Her newest product line has caught frenzy and is ready to be the next Kardashian/Jenner billionaire empire.
On Tuesday, however, Kim launched her brand new SKIMS Solution-wear and it sold $2 million worth of product in minutes. Practically every piece and/or shred of inventory sold out in lightning speed, marking unprecedented success for shape-wear.
it appears as if lots of people out there still consider Kim Kardashian a fashion icon.
She took to Instagram and showed her views:
“Thank you to everyone who supported our @skims launch day yesterday, it was beyond what I could have imagined and I’m so incredibly thankful!”
Skims was previously named “Kimono,” but came under fire for doing so because that’s already a word and already a well-known article of clothing in Japanese culture.
“I understand and have deep respect for the significance of the kimono in Japanese culture, My solution-wear brand is built with inclusivity and diversity at its core.” She told a magazine in interview.
Bu after backlash Kim changed the name to SKIMS.
