KPK will provide international standard tourist sites for visitors from across the globe: Minister

The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has planned to build all tourist zones across the province with the best of all facilities. Senior Minister for Tourism, Archaeology, and Culture, Muhammad Atif Khan said:

We will provide all international standard facilities to the tourist zones, including hotels, hospitals, filling stations, green belts, sports grounds, jeep tracks, and other facilities related to tourism activities.

While talking to the stakeholders yesterday in Islamabad, he said that the new year will be the year of great tourism in Pakistan.

He thanked the governing authorities of their efforts, stating that the world has now acknowledged Pakistan, particularly KP, as a safe and great place for tourism.

Atif Khan further stated that the provincial government is developing ecotourism in the KPK as per PM Khan’s vision, vowing to develop the region to attract more international tourists.

He claimed of working on the development of 4 new tourist locations including Mankyal in Swat Valley, Thandiani in Abbottabad, Madaklasht in Chitral, and Ganol in Mansehra.

The KP government has identified over 20 spots which can be converted into tourist zones, the minister maintained.

We will also develop the places of the newly-merged tribal districts to create a healthy atmosphere and generate livelihood opportunities there.
