Newly-appointed Education Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Akbar Ayub discontinued his education after matric, according to a report by Geo News.
On Saturday, Ayub was appointed the provincial education minister after in a cabinet reshuffle. Previously, he served as the minister for the Communication and Works department before he was given the education ministry.
KP Provincial Assembly’s official website states that the minister’s educational qualification is matric. In the minister’s papers submitted to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), the same can be found. He states his occupation as a businessman and a landlord and that he has studied only till the matriculation level.
On the other hand, former advisor to the chief minister on education Ziaullah Bangash holds a Matric degree.
