Pakistani-American actor Kumail Nanjiani is in talks to star alongside Angelina Jolie in Marvel Studios The Eternals, The Hollywood Reporter reported.
Directed by Chloe Zhao, the film will be based on the 1976 comic book series created by Jack Kirby. The project features the superpowered and near-immortal beings known as Eternals and a more monstrous offshoot known as the Deviants that were created by cosmic beings known as Celestials.
We still don’t know the details about the movie and what characters Nanjiani and Jolie will be playing since they are being kept under wraps. However, some reports suggest, that Jolie will be playing a character named Sersi, a more outgoing Eternal who has not been afraid to move amongst humankind.
Marvel, is yet to comments about Nanjiani’s possible casting in The Eternals.
