This just in, there has been a massive explosion in the upper portion of aresidential building located at Maskan Chowrangi, Gulshan-e-iqbal. It has been reported that at least 5 people were killed and 20 have been injured until now.
The police a bd rangers reached the location as soon as the incident took place and started their investigation. The people who are injured are shifted to the hospital nearby and 11 of them are said to be critical.
The reason of the blast is still unknown but it was of ver y high intensity that the windowplanes of the buildings around were deeply affected. It has been said by the police department that the reason of this blast could a due to gas cylinder. Furthermore, it has been observed that the first two floors of the building have been severely damaged and people are facing difficulty recusing the other individuals stuck inside the building.
