Minar-e-Pakistan turns pink for breast cancer awareness!

Minar-e-Pakistan was illuminated pink on Thursday so that people can be aware currently on the situation against breast cancer. The Pink Ribbon organized the Pinktober campaign and as a part of the event, the whole building was turned pink.

Omer Aftab who is the CEO of Pink Ribbon said that it is an honor for them lighting Minar-e Pakistan pink because this milestone is of great importance. He further said  we vow that we will fight and no defeat breast cancer together just as our ancestors once vowed to acquire an independent homeland”

He was able to achieve this with the support of the Pakistani government and other organizations that are dedicated and devoted to the well being of humanity also building breast cancer hospitals across the country.

He further said the construction of providing such a facility is under process. Pink ribbon CEO also promised that he will reach the potential number of women he can and also advise them to take precautionary measures against breast cancer.

By June 2020 Pink Ribbon hospital will be half functional in Pakistan. It will be the first of its kind, a medical facility that will serve more than 40,000 women every year.
