Mira Sethi collaborates with Zia Mohyeddin for Urdu adaptation of theatre play ‘King Lear’!

Mir Sethi is gearing up for a theatrical production in collaboration with the legendary Zia Mohyeddin for Urdu adaptation of William Shakespeare’s tragedy King Lear. The starlet recently made the announcement on social media.

The latest we get to know is that the Mira has shared the dates of the upcoming performance.

“Working with Zia Mohyeddin sb has been punishing, demanding, exhilarating — the experience of a lifetime. King Lear – an Urdu adaptation! – opens in Karachi Dec 19, and runs through Dec 29. Hope to see many of you there!”, shares Mira in a tweet.

 

Earlier she shared a picture of the Urdu translation of William Shakespeare’s tragedy King Lear on her official Instagram handle with a caption,  saying “This is happening. In Urdu. Directed by Zia Mohyeddin. Overjoyed at the opportunity to work with the Master.”

 

The play is translated in Urdu by Khalid Ahmed and is scheduled to take place from December 19 to December 29, 2019, at the National Academy of Performing Arts (NAPA) in Karachi.
