Over the years, Amazon Prime video evolved and had made some great content. One of the series popular Prime series, ‘Mirzapur’ released in 2018 starring Ali Fazal, Rasika Dugal, Shweta Tripathi, Vikrant Massey, Pankaj Tripathi and Divyenndu.
The series has a huge fan following and they have been anticipating for the second season too long. The wait is finally over. The streaming platform hinted at the audience with a small teaser. At the end of it, it says “Jaldi milengy bohat how intezar.”
Last month, the cast of Mirzapur 2 was spotted at a dubbing studio. Though the web series was scheduled to begin streaming earlier this year, it got pushed due to the Coronavirus.
The lead actor Ali Fazal mentioned in his recent statement, “We were always the underdogs and there was always immense love from the audience. But now the show is considerably delayed because of the circumstances posed by the pandemic.”
He also shared his feelings about the second season. He says, “Through the lockdown, fans have been after us. We can feel the eyes on us, and I hope the audience is a little generous. Such great content has come out in the last one year that I will be very proud of being part of Amazon’s legacy.”
This thriller series revolves around drugs and crime. The story revolves around a rich complexed drug family and two brothers from a middle-class family. Mainly, the plot focuses on Dons and neighbourhood rivalry in the Purvanchal region of Uttar Pradesh, UP in India.
